Order for strength of overlapping would be in the following manner.
1s then 2s then 2p then 3s then 3p then 4s then 3d then 4p then 5s then 4d then 5p then 6s then 4f ≈ 5d then6p then 7s then 5f ≈ 6d then 7p then… so on.
low subshell having least enerrgy would come at first.
