On increasing temperature, activation energy of a reaction decreases, why?

The rate constant increases exponentially with the increase of temperature. Increasing the temperature of a reaction increases the fraction of molecules, which collide with energies greater than Ea(activation energy) rather than decreasing the activation energy of a reaction.
