Grade 11Physical Chemistry

Molality = Solubility×10/Molecular mass of the solute

[Solubility = Mass of solute in grams/Mass of solvent in grams × 100]”

How was this relation between morality and solubility derived? I can't find this relation on any other website.

molality(m)=(mass of solute in grams)/(mass of solvent in grams)*(1000/molar mass of solute)    -------- 1
Then , as solubility =mass of solute in grams/mass of solvent in grams *100 ------------ 2
So, putting equation 2 in equation 1 ,
Molality (m)= 10*(solubility/molar mass of solute)
