N2O4---2NO2
here alpha is the degree of dissociation.we have to find the value of (D/d),when it is 0.When the degree of dissociation is 0,then the molecule will be consisting of N2O4 only because at that time no NO2 was formed.
so the D=vapour density at initial state=molecular formula/2=92/2=46
d=density due to N2O4
therefore D/d will be equal to 1
