If the distance between the cathode and anode in the photoelectric experiment increases then how would the stopping potential change?will it remain same or changed?

If distance between source of light and photocell increases the intensity of incident light decreases. Now, stoping potential depends on the frequency of the incident light and not on the intensity of the incident light the stopping potential will not be affected.it temins same
