If 10 mL of 0.1 M aqueous solution of NaCl... If 10 mL of 0.1 M aqueous solution of NaCl is divided into 1000 drops of equal volume. What is the concentration of one drop?

The concentration of solution will not change if we divide it into equal volumes.
However, amount of solute differs from a small volume to a large volume.
Here there are 10 ml x 0.1 M = 1 mmol in 10 ml of solution.
Volume of each drop = 10 ml/ 1000 = 10–2 ml and in this there are 1 mmol/ 1000 = 10–3 mmol of NaCl.
New concentration of each drop = Number of mmol of NaCl / Volume of solution in ml
                                        = 10–3 mmol/10–2 ml  =  0.1 M
