intrinsic semiconductors, which are naturally occurring group 14 elements, the conductivity of an intrinsic semiconductor may be increased by increasing the temperatureThe increase in temperature will push a greater proportion of the electrons from the valence band to the conduction band, resulting in an increase in the electrical conductivity.
