Electrode potential is the emf of a cell consist of two electrode , on the left side is standard hydrogen electrode and on the right hand side is The electrode of ehich potential is to be determine.
Ecell=Ecathode-Eanode
Ecell=Ecathode-0
Ecell=Ecathode ( for convence the potential of standard hydrogen electrod is taken 0 )
