Hello Student
0.50 mole Na2CO3 indicates 3 x1023molecules ofNa2CO3.
While 0.50 MNa2CO3 indicates that3 x1023molecules ofNa2CO3 are dissolved in 1 L water

0.5 mol of Na2CO3 means half of molar mass of Na2CO3 that is 53g.Whereas,0.5M means half mole of Na2CO3 is dissolved in 1L solution.

0.5 mol of Na2CO3 means half of molar mass of Na2CO3 that is 53g . But 0.5 M of Na2CO3 means half mole of Na2CO3 is dissolve in 1L solution , M is the unit of molarity while mol is unit of molecular mass.

0.5 mole of Na2CO3 eans that 3.01 × 10^23 molecule and also about the molar mass of it i.e. 53g
0.5 molar Na2CO3 means that 3.01 ×10^23 molecules or half mol Na2CO3 dissolved in 1L solution

The difference lies in the type of state they are in. When M is mentioned it means it refers to a solution while mol refers to pure substance.
Thus,
0.5 mole of Na2CO3 eans that 3.01 × 10^23 molecule and also about the molar mass of it i.e. 53g
0.5 molar Na2CO3 means that 3.01 ×10^23 molecules or half mol Na2CO3 dissolved in 1L solution
