In contrast to nitrogen which forms N 2 in the gas phase with a triple bond, phosphorus forms P 4 which has four strained single bonds. Due to its size and way it exist Phosphorous don't form CP its because of Nitrogen's small size, higher electronegativity ,Its able to make multiple bonds with carbon, oxygen n itself .
but Phosphorous , on other hand, has larger size , stopping it to make multiple bonds
