Generally, in a period density of the elements present in the group increases while goining from top to bottom of the group. Then why potassium is less denser than sodium?

Generally, as we go down the group , Density increases.
But for K, due to the addition of d-subshells, its volume abruptly increases, and hence, density decreases, infact, it becomes even less than Na.
