XY2(g) --------> XY(g) + Y(g)Intially 1 mole of each XY2 and Y are present in 500 mm HgBoth have same partial pressure ie .,250 mm eachInitially 250 mm 0 mm 250 mmAt equilibrium 250-p mm p mm 250+p mmAs given p=150 mm equilibrium pressure of XY So the values at equilibrium are 250-150 150 250+150 100mm 150mm 400mmThere fore Kp = 150X400/100 = 600 mm Hg
