Ethers are the organic compound having formula ROR,where R may be same or different.Alcohols are the organic compound with formula ROH.
On compairing the boiling point of ethers and the alcohols we found that ethers have lower boiling point than alcohols. The reason of lower boiling point of ethers is that they cannot form hydrogen bonds due to the absence of -OH groups. While alcohols on the other hand form hydrogen bonds since they have -OH group.

the c-o bond in ethers are less polar than the o-H bonds of alcohols. Therefore, there is no inter molecular H-bonds between the ether molecules. But alcohol molecules are in associated form through inter molecular H-bonds. Hence ethers have lower boiling point than alcohols.

A molecule in which hydrogen bond is possible having higher boiling point dur to high association power .Ether is not able to form H-bond ,so it have low boiling point that of alcohol.
