solid , liquid and gases are only diffre in point or surface of discontinuity , as
in the surface of discontinuity , the particles which are arrenged are more stronger in solid due to strong force of attraction , and surface of discontinuity is the only place where the force are actually stroing , not throughout the molecules .
but in the absence of surface of discontinuity , the force of attraction in solid , gas and liquids , are nearly same in all the case and their is no such diffrence , so, in tat case the solid will gnt to flow .
FOR THAT REASON , SURFACE OF DISCONTINUITY IS THE ONLY DIFFRENCE HERE .
hope it clears
all the best ..
