Explain the terms with suitable examples: (i) Alcosol (ii) Aerosol (iii) Hydrosol

(i) Alcosol-
It is a Mixture of an alcohol and a colloid or it isa sol in which the liquid is alcohol.
For example- cellulose nitrate in ethanol.

(ii) Aerosol-
An aerosol is a colloid of fine solid particles or liquid droplets, in air or another gas. Examples of aerosols include haze, dust, particulate air pollutants and smoke.

(iii) Hyrdosol-
hydrosol is a colloid in which solid is the dispersed phase and water is the dispersing medium.
it is also known as aquasol.
For example-for example silver sol or gold sol.
