Effect of particle size on catalytic activity in heterogenous catalyst

The smaller a particle’s size is in any heterogeneous catalysis or any chemical reaction, the faster, more exothermic/more endothermic and violent the reaction is going to be.
On the other hand, the larger the particle’s size is, the slower the reaction is going to be.
