Define the term 'amorphous'. Give a few examples of amorphous solids.

Term ‘amorphous’ means no form i.e irregular shape.Solids which consists of particles of irregular shape are called amorphous solids.The constituent particles in such solids has only short range order.Glass,rubber and plastics are some examples of amorphous solids.

AMORPHOUS means in which constituents partials have only short range order is called AMORPHOUS.
Ex:glass,rubber etc.. .
