These are the solids whose constituent particals have a completely random arrangement. They dont have a sharpe melting point and melt over a range of temperature. These solids are isotropic in nature. Amorphous solids flow very slowly thats why they are also called pseudo solids or super cooled liquid. when we cut a piece of amorphous solid cut with a sharp edged tool, they cut into two pieces with irregular surfaces.
For example- glass, Plastic and rubber.
