Henry law: at a constant temperature ,solubility of a gas in a liquid is directly proportional to the pressure of gas
APPLICATIONS: (1)to increase solubility of CO2in soft drink bottle is sealed under high pressure
                            (2)at high altitude partial pressure of O2 is less than at ground level.This leads to low concentration                                       of  O2 in blood and tissue.
Volume of O2 dissolve will be same at a given temperature.Solubility of gases increase with decrease of temperature so aquatic life is more comfortable at cold water.

Henry's law:
According to this law mass of gas dissolved in the liquid is directly proportional to pressure applied above the liquid.

Applications:
1.To increase the solubility of CO2 in soft drinks and soda water, the bottle is sealed under high pressure.
2.At high altitudes, the partial pressure of oxygen is less than that at the ground level. Low blood oxygen causes anoxia.

Ans:-  Henry's law : The partial vapour pressure of a gas in vapour phase is directly proportional to the mole fraction of gas .
                  P=KH × X
*Applications:
1. To minimise the painful effects accompanying the decompression of deep sea drivers (bends), oxygen with less soluble helium gas is used as breathing gas.
2. To increase the solubility of CO2 in soft drinks and soda water, the bottle is sealed under high pressure.
