HELLO NIHARIKA,
one litre have = 0,2 mole
Mg2+ = 2 X 1.6 X 10^-19
So 0.2 mole will have = 2 X 1.6 X 10^-19 X 0.2 X 6.022 X 10^23
                                     =   0.2 X 2 X 96500
                                    =   0.4F
So for 0.4F = 1 litre 
      and 1F = 2.5 litre is required
