Approved Tutor Answer8 Years agoRates of reaction apply to daily life because life cannot exist if reaction occurs to slow or too fast. One classic example is anesthesia and if you put to little or too much you can kill some one or make the person suffer the pain in surgery! There are other examples about denature of enzymes and how rate affects our survival which are linked with our buffer system.
