question mark

An ether is more volatile than an alcohol having the same molecular formula. This is due to

Hi
Its B
They are volatile because of weaker intermolecular bonding.
They are flammable too because of the same reason.

The ether are less volatile than alcohol of same molecular mass because in alcohols there is intermolecular H-bonding which makes it less volatile and High B.P. But in case of ether there is no intermolecular H-Bonding which makes it more volatile and less B.P. So the answer should be C

its C because alcohols show H bonding while ethers donot show it. Due to H bonding its more difficult to separate the molecule hence increasing its boiling point
