Hello Student
Alkynes are the unsaturated hydrocarbon with at least one triple bond between carbon atom s throughout the carbon chain. They have two pi bonds formed by sideways overlapping of p orbitals and one sigma bond formed by head-on overlapping of orbitals . Each triple bonded carbon atom is sp hybridized.
