Cu2+ + e -----> Cu+ (1)
Cu++ e -------> Cu (2)
Now, we want the equation as:-
Cu2+ + 2e -----> Cu (3)
which can be gained by adding 1 and 2
G1 +G2 =G3
-nFE1 – nFE2 = -nFE3
Dividing both sides by F and putting desired values we get:-
-1*0.15 -1*0.5 = -2*E3
-0.65/-2 = 0.325 V = E3
