Adsorption is an exothermic reaction that is it is accompanied by evolution of heat. As the adsorbent and adsorbate are held together by weak vanderwaals forces when the temperature is increased the kinetic energy of the of the adsorbate increases and they overcome the weak force and break from the adsorbent.

Chemisorption involves high activation energy. So, first, it increases and then decreases with increase in temperature. The initial increase is due to the heat supplied which act as activation energy required for chemisorption. But later it decreases due to the exothermic nature of adsorption at equilibrium.
