Dear student,
This is because of poor shielding of 5f electrons in actinoids than by the 4f electrons in lanthanoid.

In actinoid, 5f orbital haas a poorer shielding effect than 4f in lanthnoid.
therefore contraction is more in actinoid than lanthanoid
