7.1g of Cl2 occupies 2.24L = 2240mL by volume and corresponding temperature is T`Now this gas is heated and to accommodate increase volume 246mL is removed. i.e. when the gas was heated it expanded from a volume of 2240mL to a volume of 2240+246mL = 2486mL and corresponding temperature is 27 degC = 300KNow applying Charles law,2240/2486 = T`/300On solving T` = 270KKindly approve.
