a sample of CaCO3 has Ca =40+, C=12+ and O=48+.if the law of constant proportions is true,then the weight of calcium in 4g of sample of CaCO3 obtained from other source will be?

In 100g of sample there is 40 gram of calcium.because when u add everything the sum is 100g.So in 4g. sample 
there should be proportional weight of calcium which is( 40/100)×4
