25cm3 of 0.7M hydrochloric acid was added to 25cm3 of 0.7 M Potassium Hydroxide in a calorimeter. The initial temperature of the mixture rose from 19.7oC to 21.8oC, given that the heat capacity of the calorimeter and its content is 488 J/K. Calculate the standard enthalpy of neutralization, given, that the specific heat capacity of solution= 4.2Jg-1oC-1.
