HERE,
MV=M’V’
(0.5)(250)=M’(500)
M’=0.25M
Now, 0.25M means that every 1000ml solution contains 0.25 moles of KCl...
thus,every 500ml solutionwould contain x moles of KCl
by cross multiplication....x=0.125 moles of KCl
moles of chloride ions=0.125moles
thus,no of cholide ions =0.125*(6.022*10^23)
                                     =7.5*10^22 ions
