Balanced equation for decomposition of H2O2
2H2O2 → 2H2O + O2
2mol H2O2 will produce 1 mol O2
At STP 1 mol O2 has volume = 22.4L
At STP 1.68L of O2 = 1.68/22.4 = 0.075 mol O2
Therefore the solution contained 0.075*2 = 0.15 mol H2O2
Molar mass H2O2 = 34g/mol
Mass of H2O2 decomposed = 0.15*34 = 5.1g H2O2 in 25.5g solution
100g solution contains : 100/25.5*5.1 = 20%
The original solution contains 20% m/m H2O2
