HELLO SUVEKA,
weight of the solute = 2.46gm
molar mass of the solute = 40g/ml
volume of the solution = 100ml
so,Molarity = 1000XW2
                    ----------------
                      V X M2
                 =1000 X 2.46
                 --------------------
                    100 X 40
so molartity = 0.615M
so answer is 0.615
THANK YOU

Amount of NaOH =2.4 g
Volume of solution=100cm^3
                                 Mass of NaOH
Moles of NaOH= -----------------------------
                                  Molar mass

                                 40
                             Moles of NaOH
Now, molarity= ―――――――――――×1000
                             Volume Of Solution
                              0.0615
                       = ―――――――×1000
                               100
