Nitric acid is HNO3
so for 1 mole o f HNO3, Nitrogen is also 1 mol
Molecular mas of nitric acid=63g(mol)-1
so 14 g of nitrogen is there in 63 g of nitric acid.
so in 100g of nitric acid mass of nitrogen=14*100/63=22.22g
hence 22.22% of nitrogen in nitric acid
