MOle is a name given to a quantity which contains 6.022*1023 entities i.e. let it be ...atoms, particles, molecules, nuetrons etc. and when it comes to volume... it represents 22.4 litres or 22400 ml of given liquid at STP (Standard Temperature and Pressure)

It''s Simple, Think of 6.022 x 1023 Particles together then, this collection is known as A MOLE. Simply, Like Dozen, Ounce, Decade, Century tehse all are same like a Mole. Thus, Mole = Collection of 6.022x1023............
