Given that H°ionisation of HX and HY as 45 and 20 kJ mol 1 respectively, then which of the following relation is correct?(a) pKa (HX) = pKa (HY) (b) pKa (HX) > pKa (HY)(c) pKa (HX) < pKa (HY) (d) pKa (HX) = pKa (HY) +log(45/20)please tell how also?

Answer will be B As the enthalpy is more in case of HX so more energy will be needed to ionize i.e it cannot be ionized easily therefore , Ka will be less which means pKa will be more for HX
