Acid rain contains sulfurica acid and nitric acid formed in the atmosphere as secondary pollutents due to reacton of oxides of nitrogen and sulfur with water.
Acid rain can be identified using acid base indicator. It also affects the calcium carbonate and turns it yellow.
We can not denetify the diff between acidic and non acidic rains by just seeing at the water as the acidity is very very low and it does not causes any visible change in colour of rain water.
