Laughing buddy i thnk ur concepts r poor

forget valence electrons

when cations r formed elctrons r removed first from farthest shell as Zeff is least n then electrons r removed in order to ensure hunds rule...max multiplicity so the paired electron is removed...ans is 5/2..
