Dear Negi,

Best books for Chemistry:

Inorganic Chemistry: JD Lee, OP Tandon

“Physical Chemistry” by Robert A. Alberty, Robert J. Silbey (both from MIT, USA)

Organic Chemistry: Morrison & Boyd, Paula Yurkanis Bruice

Hi Rishab,

NCERT would definitely not suffice for the entire Physics and Chemistry.

For Inorganic: OP Tandon

For Organic: Morisson and Boyd or Solomons

For Physical: Any standard book by Indian Author (so that units are in the Indian units as we Indians are used to)

For Physics: HC Verma, IE Irodov and Problems in Physics by Abhay Kumar Singh.

That should help.

Best Regards,

Ashwin (IIT Madras).
