The size of an atom is considered to be from the nucleus of an atom to the last shell of the atom.

Acc to my opinion ..

size of atom is defined as the distance from the nucleus to the boundary of the surrounding cloud of electrons....its the simple definition and it is measured in radius only not in diameters..
