two elements have electronegativities 1.2 and 3 then hte bond formed between them is 1.Ionic 2.Polar Covalent 3.Coordinate 4.Mettalic I think the ans is Polar Covalent since for an ionic bond to be formed there must be a minimum electronegativity differnce of 2 but the ans says it is an ionic bond !! But,.How Come?#

Since electronegativity difference is less than 1.9 , bonding is covalent.....i saw it somewhere so i am not sure ..it may be wrong..
