The minimum onic characteristic is shown by the compound

1.LiCl 2.NaCl 3.CsCl 4.MgCl2

I know that the ans is not NaCl and CsCl but is the ans LiCl (bcos Fajan's rule comes into play here) or is it MgCl2 (bcos of the electronegativity differnce)...????

the answer has to be LiCl as far as i know...here is a little trick...see MgCl2 can be electrolysed but you cant electrolyse Licl..so as far as i know ...it has to be LiCl..
