The minimum onic characteristic is shown by the compound

1.LiCl 2.NaCl 3.CsCl 4.MgCl₂

I know that the ans is not NaCl and CsCl but is the ans LiCl (bcos Fajan's rule comes into play here) or is it MgCl₂ (bcos of the electronegativity differnce)...????

the answer has to be LiCl as far as i know...here is a little trick...see MgCl2 can be electrolysed but you cant electrolyse Licl..so as far as i know ...it has to be LiCl..

large catian small anion is condition for more ionic so MgCl2 is correct ...
