The compressibility factor is defined as:

Z=\frac{p \tilde{V}}{R T}
For an ideal gas the compressibility factor is Z = 1 per definition
hence answer is b

FOR AN IDEAL GAS pV=nRT

SO, FOR 1MOLE OF IDEAL GAS pV=RT

THEREFORE, Z=1
