Flag Physical Chemistry> variation problem???...
question mark

if A directly varies as B
B directly varies as C

Then A must directly varies as C ....

now we know

Pressure inversely varies as Temperature

then ,

PV=nRT (ideal gas equation)

here P directly varies as T

can u please help me out???

i think there is some mistake in your  concept. in ideal gas equation  V is the volume of the container,if  V is constant, then P is dirertly proportional to T.  also , P is due to the randomness  of molecules  and randomness is due to kinetic energy of molecules , now if we  increase  T ,K.E. will increase  which  will increase P and vice vesra on keeping the V constant.

IF THIS INFORMATION REALLY HELPS YOU THAN PLZ  APPROVED THIS ANS.

THANK YOU.
