Dear Kunal

If you plug in the origin we get 1=0, which is not true but 1> 0, so we need to solve the inequality
a^2x+aby+1> 0
Now I want the point (1,1) to also work
a^2+ab+1> 0
Solving for b
b>(-1-a^2)/a
For b> 0 we require that a

Hence b belongs to (0, 2)
