What is the variation of electric field with distance for two unequal charges 2q at (-a,0) and q at (a,0)?

Electric field in case of point charges (here 2q and q) always variates inversely with the square of separation b/w them i.e. EF =cx^-2 where X is the distance of separation b/w them.
