As both sphere are connected by wire so there potential will be same.
Let x charge flow from smaller sphere to bigger sphere.
Then
k(q-x)/R = k(q+x)/2R
q -x = (q+x)/2
2q – 2x = q + x
q = 3x.
So,
x = q/3.
