Hi,

Coulombic force, F = k q2r^ / r2
r^ = (r2– r1)/ r =(i + 2j – 2k) / 3
Now, put this value of r^ in the force equation to get the force vector.
The ‘i’ component of the force vector would be the force in x-direction.
