The capacitance of a parallel plate capacitor is 8pF.if the distance between the plates is increased twice then the dielectric is introduced between the plates. the dielectric constant is 6. What Will be the new capacitance?

we know that capacitance of a capacitor , C=k.ϵ.A/d
where k= dielectric constant
A= area of plate of capacitor
d = distance between plates of capacitor ..
now, C=kϵA/d=8pf
if , k =  6k and d = 2d then new C= 3.8pf=24pf.
