Radius of inner electrode of a spherical capacitor is a=1cm , and inner radius of outer electrode is b=1.67cm. Around inner electrode is dielectric, with relative permitivitty Ɛ=5Ɛ0 and of thickness d=0.5cm. Area between dielectric and outer electrode is in vacuum. Dielectric strength of vacuum is Esv=30kV/cm and dielectric ES=60kV/cm. Calculate maximum voltage of this capacitor, without corona effect. Result:Umax=9kV Could someone help?Thanks for replies.
