Dear student

Charge on one e is 1.6*10^-19

Multiply with number of e

To obtain total charge

Dear student

Since there are electrons..hence charge will be negative.

5*10^14 * 1.6 * 10^-19 = 8 * 10^-5 coulomb

charge on 1 electron = -1.6x10^(-19)        (^ refers to power)
since electron is negatively charged body,so value is negative
no. of electrons = 5x10^(14)
Net Charge ={ (-1.6)x10^(-19) }x{ 5x10^(14) }
                    = -8x10^(-5) Coulombs
